Right now the proposed rules have been pulled back by the Biden Administration and are being reviewed. Most experts anticipate we will see similar rules come forward again soon, but there is a chance they could be changed. It’s important to be aware of the proposed rules, but experts don’t recommend making any program design changes based on them just yet.
