The health insurance broker community is not always portrayed in the best light in the media, sometimes with stories of hidden fees and behind-the-scenes bonuses due to the abuses of a few bad actors. Fall River Employee Benefits operates on a higher level, and always with honesty and our clients’ best interests in mind.

Our mission at Fall River has always been to be the most innovative, proactive, and comprehensive benefits broker on the Colorado Front Range. In striving to meet this promise, our clients are provided with consistent year-round service and proactive communication regarding topics that impact benefits plans. We keep in touch steadily throughout the year, not just at renewal time.

Another important value we hold is our commitment to integrity and transparency. At Fall River, the renewal process starts many months prior to the renewal date, before the renewals are even received. Because our CEO Kristen Russell has served as an underwriting executive for insurance carriers, we have a greater understanding of which groups get the best renewals and why. We seek to share that knowledge of what’s behind the curtain with our clients, as well as help them create valuable strategies that keep benefits competitive while still finding savings.

We provide renewal analysis and marketing results in an easy-to-compare format, and our recommendations are always based on what is best for the client, never on the commission or bonus incentives we might receive from the carriers. Our commitment to transparency is also reflected in our annual commission disclosures, which go to every client after the renewal wrap-up. In stark contrast, some brokers don’t ever share this information with their clients, and most only share it upon moving to a new carrier.

Another valuable service we offer is the use of our online open enrollment portal, Employee Navigator, which can greatly ease the headaches of open enrollment. Your employee data and benefits information is loaded and stored in the system and you have access to it at any time.

Although we are not a replacement for legal counsel, Fall River also offers general compliance information and audits. This can include compliance items such as ERISA Notices and Requirements, Section 125, COBRA/State Continuation, HIPAA, and ACA mandates and general provision. We also offer an extensive HR portal called HR360, which has a library of information for provisions in all 50 states.

Our commitment to our clients is excellence, and we’re always eager for new tools and information we can bring to them. And, we’ll always do the right thing. If you have any questions about our commitment to integrity, don’t ever hesitate to contact our CEO, Kristen Russell.
