Kristen Russell, CEO

Kristen founded Fall River Employee Benefits as the culmination of her insurance industry career as an actuary, underwriting executive & consultant. As an Assistant Vice President at Great-West Healthcare (now part of CIGNA), she managed a $1 Billion block of health insurance. She also worked as a Senior Consultant at Reden & Anders, consulting to insurance companies and large employers throughout the country. Throughout her combined actuarial and underwriting roles, she has supervised over 15,000 employer renewal calculations during her career, uniquely qualifying her to help employers obtain the best rates and renewals.

Ms. Russell received a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration in Actuarial Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Drake University. She became a member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 1998 and achieved Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries in 1999 through a rigorous nine-year series of exams.

Kristen enjoys bicycling, hiking, traveling and has a special passion for non-profit volunteering. She is married to an incredibly talented photojournalist, has two college-aged stepdaughters and lives in Lower Highlands.

Tonya Kimrey, Director of Client Experience

Tonya is our Senior Account Manager and brings 11 years of prior insurance company expertise to Fall River, having worked at Anthem Blue Cross and Great-West Healthcare (now part of CIGNA). She also oversees our internal process improvement, ensuring all of our clients have the best possible experience.

Ms. Kimrey handles a variety of funding arrangements and plan designs, prepares and facilitates all aspects of client renewals and open enrollments, is our in-house wellness expert and drives Fall River's year-round customer service.

Tonya holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Originally from Minnesota, she loves the Colorado outdoors and enjoys family time with her young daughter.

Jennifer Ancona, Account Manager

Jennifer is an Account Manager with a wealth of insurance industry experience and twelve years of prior HR Generalist expertise in benefits administration and COBRA compliance. She is heavily involved in the insurance placement process for our clients, summarizing renewal options and ensuring their smooth implementation by communicating both our proven strategies and the year-round, proactive service behind them.

Ms. Ancona guides our clients through the maze of employee benefit programs, audits for gaps of coverage, recommends compliance amendments and is well-versed in eligibility issues.

Jennifer has a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education & Cultural & Historical Studies from Marylhurst University in Oregon. She loves outdoor activities, gardening, salsa dancing, dabbling in different art mediums and can often be found celebrating occasions together with her family and good friends.
